We deliver to your camp, too.
We deliver anywhere in Mississippi, and to Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee within reason. Hunting camps, farms, cabins and homes are all welcome. Your delivery fee is based on the driving distance, and you'll see it as soon as you enter the address. For very long trips, or a camp with no street address, we'll text you to work out the details.
One simple unit: the face cord.
A face cord is half a pickup truck bed of split oak, and it's $125. Order one, half of one, or as many as you need. A half face cord is $70, and bigger orders get a volume discount. A delivery fee, with stacking included, is added based on how far we travel to reach you, and it shows up as soon as you enter your address.
Any amount in half-face-cord steps. Orders of 2 or more face cords get 5% off the wood, and 4 or more get 10% off. Prices are before Mississippi sales tax.
How a delivery works
We bring each order to your door and group deliveries by area, so there can be a short wait. The delivery fee, with stacking included, is shown before you send your request, so there are no surprises.

What's a face cord?
For us, one face cord is half of a pickup truck bed of split oak, stacked level with the bed rails. Two face cords fill a whole bed.
As a rule of thumb, one face cord covers roughly 30 evening fires in a fireplace.
Need less or more? Order in half-face-cord steps: half a face cord, one and a half, two, and so on. A half face cord is $70, one is $125, and orders of two or more face cords get a discount.
See what a truck bed holds
One face cord is half a pickup bed, and a full bed is two face cords. Here is a full bed of our split oak with the halves marked, so you can picture your order.
Truck beds come in different sizes, so we measure by the half bed of our own delivery truck. If you want to see a face cord in person before you order, just ask.
How much wood do I need?
Answer three quick questions. We'll suggest an amount, show you what it looks like in a pickup bed, and explain exactly what you're buying. Then add it to your order with one tap.
This is a rough guide. Drafty homes, very cold weather, and burning for heat all use more wood. If you're unsure, start with a little less and reorder.

Questions we get a lot
Where do you deliver?
Anywhere in Mississippi, and to Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas and Tennessee within reason. That includes hunting camps, farms and cabins, not just homes. The delivery fee is based on the driving distance from Oxford, and it appears when you enter your address. For very long trips, or a camp with no street address, text or call us at (601) 818-1402 and we will work it out.
How big is a face cord?
For us, a face cord is half of a pickup truck bed, stacked level with the rails. Some sellers use "face cord" for a bigger 4 ft by 8 ft stack, so if you're comparing prices, compare the size first. We're happy to show you what a face cord looks like.
Can I order half a face cord, or more?
Yes. Choose any amount in half-face-cord steps. A half face cord is $70 (our smallest order) and one is $125. Orders of 2 or more face cords get 5% off the wood, and orders of 4 or more get 10% off.
Can I get a lower delivery fee?
Yes, often. You don't have to ask. When we're already driving through your area (the Jackson area and towns along I-55, for example), a "Lower delivery fee available" box appears under your address with the dates we're coming through and the fee for each. Just pick a date. If nothing shows up, we're not passing your way yet. Choose "I'm flexible" under Timing and we'll text you if that changes.
How is the delivery fee figured?
It covers the round trip from our Oxford location to your address (gas and wear on the truck), based on the driving distance and the current price of gas. Stacking your wood where you want it is included at no extra charge. Type your address in the form and the fee appears on its own before you send your request.
Is stacking included?
Yes. Every delivery includes stacking your wood where you want it at your place, at no extra charge. It's already covered by the delivery fee, so there's nothing extra to add or check off.
How much wood do I need?
Try the wood calculator above. It estimates from how often you burn and for how long, and it shows what that amount looks like in a pickup bed. As a rule of thumb, one face cord covers about 30 evening fires.
What kind of wood is it?
Oak. It's Mississippi oak, cut and split to fit most fireplaces and wood stoves. Oak is a dense hardwood that burns long and hot, which is why it's such a popular firewood.
How dry is it?
Firewood burns best at about 20% moisture or less. We'll tell you plainly how long each batch has dried before you order, so you know whether to burn it now or let it sit.
How do I pay?
Pay when the wood arrives. We'll confirm the total by text before we load up.
